Purpose in Pain

The five-session shape

The journey, session by session

A gentle shape your guide tailors to you. Faith is woven through every session, drawn from Atinuke's own story.

  1. I

    Love & loss

Being met where you are, and beginning to understand what grief is — and that what you feel is normal. God is present in the loss, not only after it.

  2. II

    The waves of grief

The physical, emotional and mental responses of grief, and why it comes in waves. Lament as a faithful way to bring raw feeling to God.

  3. III

Anger, guilt & the hard questions

Making room for the heavier, hidden emotions and the 'why' questions — held honestly, with grace over guilt.

  4. IV

Grief and the people around us

Easing isolation and the strain grief puts on relationships, and building a small community of support — the heart of Cherish.

  5. V

Adjusting, hope & purpose in the pain

Looking gently forward without 'moving on' from the person — carrying love forward, and finding purpose and hope in the pain.

Purpose in Pain is a Christian, faith-based ministry. Faith is woven gently through every session — and everyone is welcome, whatever your beliefs.

Online booking is coming soon. For now, the gentlest first step is simply to get in touch — there's no pressure, and no obligation.

Not a crisis service

Purpose in Pain offers gentle grief support — it is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right away, or see urgent help.
