You are not alone
Not all grief is loud.
Sometimes, grief looks like waking up exhausted after a full night’s sleep. It looks like staring at the same page and realizing you haven’t absorbed a word. It looks like losing your appetite, withdrawing from things you once loved, or feeling like you’re watching your own life from a distance.
Sometimes, it looks like becoming overwhelmed by the smallest things.
And sometimes, the hardest part is missing not only the person you lost, but the person you used to be before the loss.
These are the invisible parts of grief, the ones people may never see.
Grief can change how you think, feel, connect, and move through everyday life. It is not a straight line, and there is no “right” way to grieve.
If this is where you are today, be gentle with yourself.
You are not failing at grief.
You are grieving, and you deserve support through it.
